After that trial period the user can decide whether to buy the software or not. Even though, most trial software products are only time-limited some also have feature limitations. Techies can even use python scripting with this bot, which is possible. You can export Streamlabs Desktop Chatbot settings to the Cloudbot. Allows your viewers to wager on the result of events and earn additional loyalty points if they pick the winning choice.
It’s completely cloud-hosted and free to use, and it has a user-friendly dashboard where you can easily customize the bot’s features. There are also the usual functions, like filters for spam and banned content, raffles and giveaways, as well as polls. If you’re a streamer on Twitch, Mixer, or Youtube, you have probably heard of Streamlabs Chatbot.
Streamlabs chatbot scripts to display twitch clips on stream, allowing viewers to like the clips. Promoting your other social media accounts is a great way to build your streaming community. Your stream viewers are likely to also be interested in the content that you post on other sites.
So, let’s start by creating a mulder directory and within that directory, create mulder_StreamlabsSystem.py. I use Jetbrains PyCharm Community Edition, because it’s both free and very good. It has IntelliSense built-in, it knows the PEP 8 styling rules which helps keep your code clean, and you can easily test your methods if you need to. Feel free to use the code editor of your choice, as long as it can compile Python. That will save you quite a few silly bugs compared to coding in Notepad. This post is my attempt at helping you do just that, so you won’t have to experience what I went through in getting my very first Twitch command up and running.
You need high-quality streaming software if you want your streams to look good. There are many software out there that claims to give this chatbot service. Buckle up if you want to learn all about Cloudbot Streamlabs chatbot. Now Python knows that we mean our global settings object when we use it in the method. We’re going to need to access the settings.json file. Watch time commands allow your viewers to see how long they have been watching the stream.
Do you guys plan on adding a direct plugin integration for SL Chatbot to work with the @elgatogaming Stream Deck?
For now I’ve been fine using macros and such but it would be nice to have a direct plugin
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Streamlabs’ bots work on Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Gaming, and Trovo, although on some platforms only the cloud bot is available. These bots are easy-to-use and have plenty of extra features, although it’s worth mentioning that some integrations are unavailable on platforms other than Twitch. It’s also worth noting that the cloud-based bot does have fewer features than its desktop-based sibling. As you get started with streaming, chances are you probably don’t really feel like you need any moderators or bots just yet. Just like with StreamElements chatbot, if you’re already using Streamlabs as your OBS, it will probably make your life easier to use the same brand for your chat bot. Having everything connected and having an identical UI structure will allow you to focus more on your content and less on the technical side of setting up your chatbot.
When streamlabs chatbot macrosing it is likely that you get viewers from all around the world. A time command can be helpful to let your viewers know what your local time is. I would recommend adding UNIQUE rewards, as well as a cost for redeeming SFX, mini games, or giveaway tickets, to keep people engaged. If you choose to activate Streamlabs points on your channel, you can moderate them from the CURRENCY menu. If you change your audio device, make sure you also change your sound settings from the Streamlabs Chatbot dashboard, otherwise they will not play. Deepbot has an interface that’s very nicely built, however, these benefits come with a price as this is one of the paid Twitch chatbots.
To do this all you need to do is create an action and give it a name next go to the sub action window on the right and then right click to get the option menu to open now navigate through the following Add Action then Commands then click the Get Commands Option.
We will be talking about this in greater detail in a minute. Then the Cog Icon this the General Settings, Macros Etc we will be discussing that in more detail another blog. Finally the Email this is a contact option to Streamlabs will have links to their discord and such. Next at the top the page has list of buttons Follow, Sub Etc.
Nightbotis arguably the most user-friendly chatbot on this list. It can be used on both PC and Mac through multiple streaming platforms. Nightbot is cloud-hosted so you can manage it from your browser or console.

It is recommended that you already have a good amount of experience handling bots in general so that you can optimize what it can offer. Perhaps the more traditional chatbot-related tool that Wizebot has is its analytics. Combined with live audience statistics, it can be a very powerful tool in assessing the engagement level of your streaming sessions. This then allows you to know which ideas work, and which features within the chat command suite are best suited to whatever is happening to your game session. Screengrab from wizebot.tvAccording to Wizebot’s website, over 830,000 Twitch streamers are currently using their bot on their channels.
Moderating a chat and keeping your audience engaged while you’re livestreaming can be quite impossible if you’re doing it all on your own. They handle all of the tedious tasks that come with being a streamer so you won’t have to multi-task that much. That way, you can focus on making content for your viewers without worrying about anything else.
